Motion sickness
Installation
6 drawings on Archival Art Paper, steel bearing wall

A thousand steel bearing balls fill the floor of the gallery. The balls are freely interacting with the visitors forcing them to move with precaution, not to say calculation with an economy of steps. Randomness and uncertainty dominate the installation and demand a high level of attention to be crossed. This is one experience where the commoditization of space and time cannot work. Motion sickness is the resulting effect of this experience. The chrome steel balls will reflect the movement of visitors together with the 100 crabs freely moving in their island.

A series of drawings representing free figures made of powder spheres captures the maze. This is not about moving from point to another but a punctuated landscape, the trace of an infinite canvas of possible so that our sense of identity/territory potentially knows no borders.
