A response to current crisis situation, the Urban Shelter challenges the following points
- How to adapt to the increasingly challenging urban environment?
- How design can redress social problems?
- How to live outside the solid shell?
Shelters had to be unobtrusive and portable; fit into a shopping cart or roll on wheels; keep out the elements; and provide some warmth in winter and ventilation in the summer.
